Designer recalls his childhood dining experience at Imperial Tai Pak Floating Restaurant, which was a splendid traditional feast. He particularly enjoyed observing the various chopsticks rests, each with unique shapes that reflect the rich Chinese culture. During this return to Tai Pak Floating Restaurant, he captured exquisite totemic reliefs with his camera and used AI to transform images into 3D effects, considering ergonomic principles to present the best proportions. Packaging design embodies the essence of culture, centered around the octagonal shape of Imperial Tai Pak Floating Restaurant symbolizing mythical tale of the flying fairy. Six-piece “Splendor” collection is distinguished by its rich colors echoing the grandeur of traditional Chinese aesthetics and palace architecture.
